“Say hello to Mojito, Marguerite’s new baby calf! (Mojito, son of Margarita… oooh that is still a game of words that will be worth a few points in the world championships of the two cent joke) Our sincere appreciation to the Canadian company VSI, the manufacturer of this calf, located between the high tech utility and the realistic sculpture, a company whose efficiency and quality of the after-sales service we welcome. Mojito is therefore waiting for you to help him to come to the world during obstetrics training.”
Thank you to the Nantes College of Veterinary Medicine in France!
Check out our NEW video, demonstrating some of the features of our Canine Dental Simulator. This life-like simulator comes with removable jaw sets for extractions, a jaw set suitable for performing x-rays, and a removable tongue and epiglottis, perfect for practicing intubation techniques. Email us for more information!
We had a productive day of simulated surgery yesterday as Dr. Beth Barrett from Barrett Veterinary Practice in Dalemead, Alberta was kind enough to open her clinic to us. Roxane Wenstrom (AHT) provided us with some valuable insight into the functionality of our upcoming Canine Dental Simulator. Our prototype looks promising thus far, as we continue to undergo testing to fine tune the models and make them as realistic as possible.

Simulated Tooth Extraction – Canine Dental Surgical Prototype …Posted by Veterinary Simulator Industries on Tuesday, 11 April 2017
We have officially added the Equine Palpation / Radiology Limb to our catalogue!
It is available as an addition to the Equine Palpation / Colic Simulator. All of our new full horse models going forward will feature a removable “dummy” limb that can easily be interchanged with the Palpation / Radiology Limb. It is also sold separately with a designated stand.
Here is the limb in use at Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
This prototype Surgical Canine Dental Model features replaceable maxilla and mandible; teeth are set in simulated bone with soft, rubber gums complete with periodontal ligament. The model will allow for realistic simulation of many dental procedures including extractions. It will also be able to be used as an intubation model once the development of the tongue / epiglottis component is complete. We are looking to have the model on the market later this year.
We have updated our product catalogue with new photos and descriptions of our products. You can view it by clicking on the above image.

VSI Surgical Canine Dental Simulator. This is our first prototype of the dental skull within the silicone dog head. This video demonstrates how the interchangeable maxilla and mandible will slide on and off the skull. Students will be able to practice tooth extraction, complete with periodontal ligament. We plan to have a complete model on the market later this year. #veterinarydentistry #veterinary #simulation #simulator #prototype #vetsim #clinicalskills #dogdentist #veterinarysurgeon #veterinarytechnician #dvm #madeincanada #vetsnobiety #veterinarymedicine #canine #caninelovers #dog #vetschool #veterinaryschool #veterinario #veterinaria #veterinarian #vettech #vetmed #anatomy #canineanatomy #doganatomy #smallanimalmedicine #smallanimal #toothextraction
